Department of Commerce was established in 2005. The course offered to this institution is Undergraduate Course. According to New Educational Policy (NEP) of CU under Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCF 2022) the Department offers 3 year General Cum Multidisciplinary Courses only. The college conducts Unit Tests, Mid-Term Test, Annual Test, Test Examinations before the Final University Examinations and other internal examinations to help the students prepare for the University examinations. Participation of the department in the courses offered by other departments The BSc. students opting for Accountancy Hons have to study two other general subjects from commerce group as Generic (Gen) and 3 Inter-Disciplinary (ID) Subjects for both Hons and Gen students of BCom. The Department is run by one efficient substantive teacher and three State Aided College Teacher (SACT) at present. No post remains vacant.
