As per order of the GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL FINANCE DEPARTMENT (Audit Branch) 325, Sarat Chatterjee Road, Nabanna, Howrah- 711 102 MEMORANDUM No. 251 O-F(P2)  Dated : 07/07/2025, in view of call given by different trade unions and others for a 24 hours' nationwide strike / bandh on the 9th July, 2025 (Wednesday), it has been decided that all State Government offices including those provided with Grants-in-Aid by the State Government shall remain open and all the employees shall report for duty on that day. It has been decided that no Casual Leave or any other leave for absence either in the 1st half or in the 2nd half or for the whole day shall be granted to any employee on the above-mentioned day. It is further notified that absence of employees on that day will be treated as 'dies-non' and no salary will be admissible unless such absence is covered by any of the following grounds: a) b) c) d) Hospitalisation of the employees; Bereavement in the family; Severe illness and absence continuing prior to gth July, 2025; Employees who had been on Child Care Leave, Maternity Leave, Medical Leave and Earned Leave sanctioned prior to gth July, 2025. All Heads of Offices/Controlling Authorities concerned will issue Show-Cause notice to the employee(s) concerned, who will remain absent on 9th July, 2025, asking him/her to explain w~y action would not be taken against him/her for such unauthorized absence. On receipt of satisfactory reply, leave due and admissible may be granted on production of documentary evidence on the grounds mentioned above. Where the absence is not covered by any of the above-mentioned reasons and the leave has not been approved, the same will be treated as 'dies-non' and no salary will be admissible for the above-mentioned day. Those who will not respond to the Show-Cause notice will be liable to disciplinary action. All course of action in terms of this order should be completed by 31st July, 2025 and compliance report on action taken should be sent to this Department.

The casual candidates must pay the Casual Charge challan (at the bottom of dropdown menu) to the cash office along with filled up examination form personally, otherwise their form would not be processed for examination. 

 The students are instructed to clear all dues before submission of CU Exam form online and show the challan otherwise their forms would not be approved.

 (If there is any emergency problem student may contact the 1st floor office from 5.30-8.30pm except Sunday) It may be noted that if any student(s) unable to submit CU Form online within due time, the college authority will not be responsible for non-approval. As per Notice of CU  Ref. No./CE/R&F/04/25, dated 24.04.2025 the students of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Part I, Part II and Part III (Honours, General & Major) Examinations, 2025 under 1+1+1 system whose year of Registration were 2016 (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com) and 2017 (B.A./B.Sc.) and have lost their last chance to complete their course of study under relevant regulations (vide CSR 62/16 dated 06.05.2016) will get only one chance in 2025 to appear in the aforesaid B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Part - I, Part - II and Part - III (Honours, General & Major) Examinations, 2025 (as applicable and as per eligibility) and to complete the 3-year course of study without any precedence in future. Dates for enrolment will be notified by the University in due time.

* Important Instructions to Students / Examinees:

1. All eligible examinees are directed to bring their Admit Card on the date of the practical exam. Without Admit Card, no student will be allowed to appear in the practical exam.

2. All eligible examinees are directed to bring their Two Signed CADC Project Hard Copy (i.e. Practical Note Book) on the above-mentioned date of the practical exam. Without Signed Project Copy, no student will be allowed to appear in the practical exam.

3. All students are directed to be present in the Students’ Waiting Room No. 402 within 5 PM on the scheduled date of their practical & viva exam.
