AwarenessProgram and MSME Camps are frequently arranged for Student Credit Card Scheme as per Govt. Order No 412-EH/RUSA-59/21 dated 17.12.21 and as per the direction of Honourable Chief Minister of West Bengal. Students those who are interested to ensue higher education but could not undergo studies due to poor financial condition must apply. All concerned students are asked to participate in the Awarness Camp.

    • Under the visionary leadership of Mamata Banerjee, Hon’ble Chief Minister, West Bengal, The Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal has introduced the Student Credit Card Scheme for the students of West Bengal to enable them to pursue education without having any financial constraints. This scheme is designed to support the students to pursue secondary, higher secondary, madrasah, undergraduate and post graduate studies including professional degree and other equivalent courses in any School, Madrasah, College, University and other affiliated institutes within and outside India. Students studying in various coaching institutions for appearing in different competitive examinations like Engineering, Medical, Law, IAS, IPS, WBCS etc, can also avail the loan under this scheme. A student from West Bengal can obtain a maximum loan of Rs. 10 lakhs @ 4% per annum simple interest from the State Cooperative Bank and its affiliated Central Cooperative Banks and District Central Cooperative Banks and Public/ Private Sector Banks. 1% interest concession will be provided to borrower if the interest is fully serviced during the study period. The upper age limit for the interested students has been kept as 40(forty) years at the time of applying for loan. The repayment period shall be fifteen (15) years for any loan availed under this Credit Card including the Moratorium/ repayment holiday. TOPIC : PREPARATION OF PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR STARTING UP A NEW BUSINESS

 Students have to prepare ED Project in the Science Lab Exercise Book (‘String- bound Hard Cover Practical File with one side blank-page & the other side line-page) by their own handwriting only.

 Key guidelines are given below for preparing the project:

 

1. Cover Page : Mentioning Student’s Name, College Roll No., CU Reg. No., Semester, Hons. / MDC (Gen), Subject Name (Project on the Paper ED),    Session (2024-25), etc.

2. Title Page : Mentioning Project Title (Proposal for starting up a new business) and proposed name of the business organization (e.g. PK Enterprise / Sen & Company etc.).

3. Chapter I : General Information – Brief information about the proposed product / service profile (i.e. nature & other details).

4. Chapter II : Executive Summary – Objectives of the proposed business, nature of the business and estimated total fund/ capital (both long-term & short-term) required for the business.

5. Chapter III : Promoter’s Details –  Name & address of the owner/ entrepreneur, date of birth, educational qualification, working experiences, new project-related experiences.

6. Chapter IV : Location – Specific place or site of the proposed business with the size of the business premises.

7. Chapter V : Targeted Sales – Brief information about the target customers, market survey for the product / service, proposed price of the product / service, and proposed sales volume of the product / service at the beginning.

  Important Notes :

1. After preparation of the ED Project based on the above guidelines, students are instructed to submit their project on a particular date and time, which will be notified in due course.

2. For any query on ED project, students may seek guidance from the ED teachers in person in the classroom (not over phone).

All the Teaching and Non Teaching Staff are hereby requested to attend the College to perform their duties during Bundh, called by some political parties, on 28.8.24 as per GO,3757-F(P2) dated 27.8.24.
          In the context the of ensuing NAAC Peer Team visit, it is announced that a team of resourse  persons will talk about the Preparation for Qualitative Presentation of seven criteria before the team in the evening 4.30 to 8.30pm. Therefore, all the classes will remain suspended on the day from 4.30 to 8.30pm., but the college will remain open as usual.
